Rev. Kelly Chatman

Rev. Kelly Chatman is a nationally sought-after teacher of the church in the areas of multi-cultural leadership, community engagement and congregational revitalization. In March of 2020, Kelly became the first director for the new nonprofit, CLNE (Center for Leadership and Neighborhood Engagement). CLNE mobilizes congregations and leaders as powerful neighborhood-based agents for positive social change. Offering transformative learning experiences, we aim to strengthen and inspire leaders and congregations. programs, coaching and training to connect and support congregations and nonprofits and their neighborhoods.

Yvette Trotman

Yvette Trotman is currently working with the Minnesota Department of Health, Health Equity serving on a Community Board to create a health equity narrative and helped to launch a Summit designed to support America's black mothers and their babies. She is also doing similar work as a member of the Simpson Housing Early Childhood Community Advisory Board and with the Wilder Center Integrated Care High Risk Pregnancy Initiative {ICHRP). She continues to stay active in her church community recently being ordained as a Chaplain.

As an active member of the Convening Institute she is trained in the Art of Convening a tool she currently uses in her Board related activities and when she served as Dean.

Harry Waters Jr.

Harry Waters, Jr. created the role of Belize in the first production of Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes in 1991. He is most famous for his portrayal of Marvin Berry in Back to the Future (1985) which earned him a Gold record for his rendition of "Earth Angel." Acting Credits also include Adventures in Wonderland, and Big Bully as well as numerous television guest-starring roles. Born in Tulsa, and raised in Denver, Colorado, he attended Princeton University and received his MFA in Directing from University of Wisconsin-Madison.

While Waters has performed in major films and famous theater productions, he’s also been part of performances you’ve never heard of—but that made big impacts on the communities where they happened. When he moved to Minnesota, he took along his passion for community-driven theater, recreating the Cornerstone model on St. Paul’s multicultural west side. Through decades of living and working in the Twin Cities, his ties there run deep.
