It gives us great pleasure to share the annual Research Findings of Whole Person Leadership™ for Women.

This assessment was designed to evaluate the impact of each cohort of this pioneering program that focuses on the principles of purpose, convening, and authentic leadership to help women leaders connect more deeply to their power of purpose and lead from a whole person perspective.

Claudia Eisinger of Eisinger Associates works with each cohort as a listening partner to support powerful learnings and positive outcomes. Over the past six years, twenty-four women leaders from across the US participated in a 5-month, blended course with the aim to develop whole-person, purposeful leadership skills in a real-time application for life-long benefit.

We employ qualitative research as a listening and reflection tool. It digs deeper and identifies patterns and insights into our growth as a collective. It also shifts awareness of the wider social and cultural impact we can have through our growth as whole-person leaders. What is powerful is that it becomes not only a reflection of our individual journey but a powerful reflection of our collective experience. This allows us to see and sense what’s happening in a shared context and relationship space.

Leadership is aspirational; grounding in your purpose creates a base from which to grow. By reflecting back on the collective growth journey, our potential and impact as whole person leaders is amplified.

Research Purpose

  • Track the significant ways our collective cohort has grown and transformed through the WPL4W journey
    - Current state
    - Future aspirations and ideal self

  • Reflect back how the WPL4W program is of value

Research Aims

  • Collective exploration

  • Who are we?

  • Who are we currently? Who do we choose to be in relationship?

What did we learn about why Whole Person Leadership matters?

  • Powerful Leadership: In an age of constant disruption, learning how to respond from wholeness to create your ideal circumstances, rather than react, is a crucial leadership skill for resilience and effectiveness.

  • Purposeful Leadership: collaborate and contribute by bringing more of one’s authentic self, gifts and talents, to their leadership role.

  • Thriving Leadership: trust leadership principles create conditions to connect more deeply to each other in a foundation of mutual trust and respect, unlocking greater potential and outcomes.

The results of these assessments indicate that all of the participants experienced personal growth, increased leadership capability and capacity, and increased their ability to lead positive change through their projects.

I now have a roadmap that allows me to make decisions that align with my life’s purpose, which has freed me to ... have a renewed positive attitude about the contributions I will make in my relationships and approach to life.

More specifically, they:

  • Increased their self-awareness and presence

  • Gained leadership tools and put them to use in their day-to-day experience through a personalized Leadership Blueprint and Purpose Plan.

  • Created positive futures for themselves, their families, and the people they lead and serve that emanated from their purpose and gifts.

“In a time of disruption, purpose is a stabilizing force. At the heart of the matter:
How do your life and leadership fit together? How is your purpose to be shared?
