Dr. Mark Albion, VisionHolder
/ Patricia NealWhats a former Harvard Business School professor, radical organizer of MBA candidates and author who torments himself with questions like ""How can I be a Marxist and still own a Jacuzzi?" doing running around the country with a new business book.
Well, we found out last night during our VisionHolder Interview.....
Meet Mark Albion, who answered the question above saying ""We are all angels with one wing, able to fly only when we embrace each other."
Lots of changes since Harvard, starting several businesses, raising a family, godfather to the largest MBA on campus club in the country, which happens to be focused on creating businesses that add value to society, the earth and make a profit..how radical!
Mark has tirelessly crisscrossed the country for a decade organizing campus's, interviewing the bright lights of the socially responsible business movement...now writing his second book, where he's wrapped it all together around how to be true to your values and leading or being in a values based business.
He spoke of the "New Business Leadership Values" of Transparency, Sustainability and Responsibility and the 3 C's of Competence, Compassion and Commitment in rapid fire sequence to an enthralled group of listeners from across the Hemisphere.
So, what do you think are the core values for the new leader? what is the role of Compassion in your life and work? how can we bring more authenticity to one another and the workplace. listen to Mark on the audio link at the left and send your thoughts by clicking on the comments button below.
